The coaches spotlight today is on Coach Brooke Lamken. This is Coach Lamken's second year assisting the team and she has been instrumental in getting our jumping program off the ground. Her favorite events are the triple jump, 200 meter dash and the 1600 meter relay. She has worked closely with regional qualifier Perseus Williams and Laura Steinlein to get them to where they needed to be as athletes. She is originally from Dixon, Illinois. She ran numerous events during her high school years to include the jumps and relays. She is a graduate of Clemson University where she received her BS in Psychology. She is presently attending East Carolina University where she is finishing her MS in School Psychology. She will be moving after the school year to Portsmouth Virginia to do her internship for that school system. We hope she will be coming back after next year to do her PhD work at ECU and assist when she can. Our team has grown quite fond of you Coach Lamken and you will be missed...Good luck to you in the future...
