Wrapup fro the 2009 season

Both teams finished well and respectively at the end of the year. Our girls continued their dominance in the Carolina Conference by retaining their Conference Crown for a third year in a row. Our boys finished 2nd to a tough Princeton team. At Regionals our boys finished 7th and our girls finished 4th for their best showing ever. Thanks to North Johnston Coaches


A big thanks goes out to Scott Meserve and Tim Jones of North Johnston High School. These guys have put on the Conference Meet the past two years and have done a great job. Being a track coach includes many thankless hours and I just wanted to post this. North Johnston will be in the 2A ranks next year and I know for sure that I will miss their friendship. The Girls Track team finished first at the Conference Meet on Tuesday.

The next meet for both teams are the Regional Championships to be held on the 9th of May at Princeton High School.Start time is 10 a.m. The Boys team is the two time defending Regional Champions and have a good shot at repeating. The girls’ team was runners up last year and is the favorite to win it all this year. Please come and support these great athletes.

Congratulations to the AG Girls Track team 2009


The girls team finished this year as Conference Champions for the third year in a row by going 9-1 during the regular season. Over the past three years the girls record has been 23-1-1. This is an amazing feat and we are so proud of all their accomplishments.
