Charger men vs. North Johnston

The Charger men finished the regular season with a convincing win against North Johnston 110-32. The men swept all the events except for two. They kept in place their domination of the relays intact. Junior Courtney Fuller finished the regular season undefeated in the 110 and 300 hurdles. The team welcomed back Matt Daugherty from his serious injury. He was in his usual form and won the 800 meter run, 1600 meter run, and 32oo meter run by 1 second. Daniel Greene set a PR at the 100 by finishing with a blazing 10:89. Perseus Williams nosed out Daniel in the 200 with a 22:89. Jarvis Murphy ran for a first in the 400 barely inching out distance expert Jordan Cayton. Josh Crane won both the shot put and the high jump. Joshua Hunter won the discus. The men finished the regular season 7-2, 4-1 in conference for their best finish in years. The only two losses of the year were against 3A powerhouse Washington in a quad meet and against Rosewood. The team faced these teams twice and split the meets. They won head to head against Washington and won against Rosewood in the quad meet. The coaching staff, the administration and the student body is so proud of your accomplishments this year. Keep your focus as we head into conference, regional, and state competition.
