The Charger ladies had a great day. Although their numbers are small due to participation and injuries, there were four women that contributed 34 points among themselves. Angelica Curry won the 100, 200, and 400 meter dash. Impressive...Felicia Pope won the long jump (1st time jumping ever) and the 800 meter run. Elisia Bell won the discus and came in second in the shotput. Brook Meeks was third in the 1600 meter run despite running with a painful injury. Great show of heart...This was a great day considering there were only four ladies competing. Awesome showing and we are so proud of your efforts.
